TORONTO COUNCIL FIRE DVD PROJECT
produced by Ralph Brown
In a reversal of history, an Aboriginal group travels to 1812 England and sets up a residential schoo system. The morality story is told through a play in progress which follows an irreverent animated voyage to the new land. The poignant video tale is inter-cut with accounts from residential school survivors.

Produced in 2005 and premiered at Toronto's St.Lawrence Centre's Jane Mallet Theatre, the work is still very relevant today. A full version of the video can be seen on our Vimeo page at: http://vimeo.com/64820701

Copies of the DVD are still available and are ideal for school libraries, Frienship Centres and other organizations that offer cultural education and awareness programs.

DVDs are $20 ea. + shipping and handling. Please contact Denise Toulouse at 416.360.4350 ext. 233
